Quantum Universe EXPO

This small, research-focused programme brings together postdoctoral and other young or early-career researchers from Japan and the United Kingdom to develop collaborative research themes in quantum technologies and explore possible pathways towards social and industrial applications.

Participants will work in small groups to develop a research concept and an initial 30/60/90-day continuation plan. A direct route to commercialisation or startup creation is not required.

QI4U2026 in United Kingdom will be held as a satellite event of the International Conference on Quantum Annealing (INQA 2026).

【Eligibility】
Postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and other young or early-career researchers in academia or industry from Japan and the United Kingdom are welcome to apply. For this programme, “young or early-career researcher” is self-defined; there is no fixed age limit.

Lunch will be provided only on days when a participant attends the full programme, including both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Travel and accommodation costs are not covered. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel and accommodation.

As capacity is limited to 30 participants, submitting the registration form does not automatically confirm participation. The organising team will contact applicants separately.
